Do
guns make us safer? There is no more controversial and disputed subject
in America then the gun debate. After the recent violence that occurred
at Virginia Tech, Northern Indiana University, and Louisiana Technical
College, many people on campuses across the nation are wondering what
can be done to ensure shootings like these never happen again. Some argue
that faculty and students carrying concealed weapons is a necessary deterrent
against rampage shootings and violence on campus. If professors and students
are armed will it make campuses safer places or will it only result in
more violence? This dynamic debate addresses these important issues while
exploring a vital question in America today: What are the best ways to
create safe and peaceful communities? Come join peace activist and educator
Arthur Romano as he takes on Michael Guzman of Students for Concealed
Carry on Campus and share your opinion in this lively discussion sure
to impact your life.
