	Co-Captain Johnathan Hillstrand Johnathan Hillstrand, 46, was born and raised in Alaska. As the son of a fisherman, John's life at sea began at the young age of three. The Hillstrands' father, John Sr., would take him and his brothers fishing off the Alaskan coast for crab, cod, halibut, and salmon at every opportunity. Over the course of his childhood, John learned his craft and honed his fishing skills. Continuing his fathers' legacy, John became a full-time professional fisherman after high school, fishing the Alaskan waters as well as spending eight years in Gloucester, MA as a lobster fisherman. Today, John is recognized as Co-Captain of the fishing vessel Time Bandit as seen on Discovery Channel's “Deadliest Catch”. Known as one of the world's deadliest professions, fishing for crab in the Bering Sea leaves no room for mistakes. As Captain of Time Bandit during King Crab season, he runs a tight ship. For John, the
	safety of his crew is his top priority. Although a serious fisherman, John is also known as the practical joker on board Time Bandit. "Flour bombs", teetering buckets of water, and a surprise detonation of a seal bomb or two are just a few of his favorite pranks! As the winter crab fishing ends, you'll find John fishing for salmon during the summer on board his 38 foot Weggley, the fishing vessel Fishing Fever. When John isn't on the ocean, he splits his time between Seattle, WA and Homer, AK, spending time with family and friends. He likes his fun just as dangerous as his profession - John's other passion is his 2000 Harley Davidson Fatboy, customized with a nitrous tank that adds 300 hp of acceleration to the ride! John has two grown children, and two grandchildren.
			Co-Captain Andy Hillstrand Andy Hillstrand is a born and bred Alaskan, and like his brother, a third generation fisherman. The ocean is in his blood. Aboard Time Bandit, Andy is Co-Captain along with his brother John. During King Crab season, you'll find Andy on deck sorting and counting crab with the rest of the crew. During Opilio Crab season, you'll find Captain Andy in the wheelhouse hunting for the elusive opilio crab, fighting deadly winter storms, and hull-crushing ice. Andy is the consummate professional fisherman and takes every aspect of crew and boat safety seriously. When he's not fishing, Andy returns home to his 17 acre ranch in Indiana where he and his wife, Sabrina, own and operate their other business, Hobby Horse Acres. Specializing in natural horsemanship, Andy and Sabrina not only train horses, but teach riding to adults and
	children. In Alaska, Andy was a barrel horse racing champion three years running with the National Barrel Horse Association. Andy is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Sabrina, have been married 27 years. They have two grown daughters, and two grandchildren. An outdoorsman, Andy likes to hunt and scuba dive. He also loves playing drums!
		William Dufris throws himself into this testosterone-filled account of brothers Andy and Johnathan Hillstrand, who earn their living at one of the world's most dangerous occupations: fishing. Made somewhat famous by their appearance on the Discovery Channel series Deadliest Catch, the Alaskan fishing boat captains survive and prosper in the cold, dangerous waters of the Bering Sea, thanks to both a seriousness of purpose and a certain insanity. This type of material could not be more suited to Dufris, and he doesn't hold back. The tone is almost noir beating someone into a coma outside of a bar is apparently close to normal but he also adeptly conveys the peril of ice sheets closing up around the brothers boat.
